I'm a very private person.

I'm a geek (of the soft sciences, specificly computer science) and a nerd (of the hard sciences, specificly physics) at the same time.

I'm a teacher at an area community college.

I'm an atheist.

I'm a right-winger.

I describe my personal politics as "Conservative Objectivist Libertarian".

I'm restoring a 1981 Suzuki GS550LX cruiser motorcycle I bought off eBay. It's hoped that it will allow me to get around my home state of Indiana more easily for less money than my Crown Vic.

I like music, all forms except country/western, even the modern poppy stuff; any form of hate music, hate rock, hate rap (the kind that's all about killin' cops and calling women bitches and ho's); and gospel, although I have every album put out by the Benedictine Monks of Santo Domingo de Silos, that's Gregorian chant, not gospel.

Preferred music genres are techno, trance, ambient, folk/pop, celtic, (classic) rock, pop, and movie and anime soundtracks. I also like bluegrass, which I view as more celtic moves to America and gets folksy than country/western.

Favoured anime/manga: Ghost in the Shell (all derivations), Cowboy Bebop, Eureka 7, Big O, Fullmetal Alchemist, Samurai Champloo, Paranoia Agent, FLCL, Robotech, Serial Experiments Lain, Witch Hunder Robin, Slayers, Chobits, Love Hina, Ranma 1/2, et al.

Favoured Sci-Fi: Sci-Fi's Stargate series as well as the original movie, the reimagined Battlestar Galactica, Babyloon 5, both Star Wars and Star Trek *equally*, The Matrix, Dark City, Aliens (entire franchise),Event Horizon, Supernova, Transformers, et al.

I'm also a MtF transsexual in transition. Been on HRT for 18 months. Planning SRS sometime in 2009.
